The Essence Campaign is a special photography project by Cory Powell Photography. Our mission is to empower women through creating beautiful portraits showcasing their true essence of strength and beauty while reminding them how extraordinary they are. Tell me your story!

I was turning 43 the day after my shoot and had always wanted to do professional photos but was scared that I wasn't good enough. After seeing my photos I felt so amazing. I recommend every woman to do this for themselves. It makes you see how beautiful you really are.

What is your definition of beauty?

Beauty to me is within. Your character, the way you treat others.

Do you fit your definition of beauty?

No and yes, if that makes since. I have inner beauty. I have not felt outer beauty in a while, but after seeing my photos my perspective is changed.

What about the woman you are today makes you uniquely powerful?

I love deeply and with all my heart!
