Tell us more about you!

Well I have always had a self-esteem issue I have never felt comfortable in my own skin and have always been made fun of even in my adult years. I would have never imagined doing a boudoir photo shoot ever untill now and I am so glad that I did. I've learned over the years of getting older it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of you which is a very hard lesson to learn.

Why did you want to book a boudoir shoot?

I wanted to do this shoot for awhile now I have lost over 100 lbs and feel better about myself and I recently found myself single after a long time. I have been thrown a lot of changes over the last couple of years and hadn't done anything for myself and I finally got the courage to do it.

Were you nervous about anything before your session? How was your experience?

Yes I was nervous who wouldn't be! I'm very body shy still even after losing weight. I still don't think as myself as sexy but I got my courage up and went through with it and I am glad I did. Cory is so awesome he made me feel very relaxed and I had a great time doing the shoot.

What is your definition of beauty?

Feeling good about yourself and how you show yourself to the world by not what is on the outside but what is on the inside

Before your session did you feel beautiful? What about this experience helped you challenge that view and/or embrace your beauty?

Well being recently single I'm learning that I am beautiful. I had been in a bad marriage and didn't feel beautiful and now I am learning to love myself and love the person that I am and Cory took so many wonderful pictures and I liked them all. I got to see that beauty I feel in my photos.

What makes you uniquely powerful?

My courage and my strength to live life with all the heartache I've been through and to see that I am beautiful.
